This week has been Assessment, DT and Transition Week – what a lot to fit in!

The children worked on a project about designing and making a windmill for a mouse. The children thought carefully about their design and learned the technical vocabulary: client, structure, axle and turbine. Their finished windmills are amazing and they work too!

On three afternoons the children met their new teacher, Miss Aitchison. They shone their Topaz light and showed her what a wonderful class she will have in September.

Sadly, on Wednesday we said goodbye to Mrs Nicol. Having completed her training, she will be going to work at a school in Maidstone as a Reception teacher. We wish her lots of luck and know she will be great.
